So, you’ve purchased one or more of our lovely Groupon offers, and you want to know what to do next? Well, you’ve come to the right place, assuming that you are here for the swing dance offer.
Here’s what to do:
1) Purchase a Groupon (you can buy them as gifts too)
2) Determine what class you would like to take. Go here to check out our upcoming classes and read descriptions of the dances that we offer.
3) Register for you class/classes online and enter your Groupon number in the appropriate field.
4) Psych yourself up for your class, and bring your printout to your first class.
5) Feel a sense of self accomplishment, because in 6 weeks you will know how to Dance!

So if I sign up for EC 1 & 2 it’s $10(groupon)+$75(no concurrent-class discount)? Just curious.
That would be correct, although if you buy multiple groupons you could use both.
I thought it was one per visit? 2 groupons = EC 1 & 2 for $20? I’m confused.
That is confusing. The one-per visit language doesn’t really apply to our situation. Each class could count as a visit, I guess. I have no problem with you using two at the same time.
Right on, I’m not trying to screw you guys… I just want to get the rules clear. I’d be more than happy to pay the $45 concurrent-class fee if you make that an option when registering. I guess I’ll just stock up on these here groupons either way.
Hey I’m wondering if you guys are going to have beginners sessions over the summer- I looked at the schedule and all the classes listed right now are April 19- May 24th. Problem is I’m at college so I can’t do this until the summer. Will you be having more sessions over the summer and if so can I use my Groupon for them? The coupon says it expires October 15th, so I’m hoping yes…
Absolutely! We just haven’t scheduled that far ahead yet.
When will you be adding additional dates for the Groupon to be used? We aren’t able to start classes next week but would love to start in May or June. Thanks!
@Jill, i will be getting them up ASAP. We always start new sessions within a week or two of the last one ending. We just aren’t that far ahead with scheduling. Don’t worry, there will be classes for you!
So if I want to come with my husband, I should by one for myself and one for him? Also, we have done some swing dancing before but not with you. Can we just sign up for EC 2?
Yes, each Groupon is good for admission for one person for one 6-week series.
You should feel free to sign up for East Coast 2 or Lindy 1, both are designed to be accessible to anyone and should be no problem for someone with experience.
I got a couple of those wonderful Groupon deals and I have just tried to use them for the past 10 min (since after midnight) and I can’t get them to work! I noticed earlier on the website to register you had a Groupon promo code box but now its not there and the code isn’t working in the other box! I hope that since I still registered I can still get the amazing deal.

I tried to register using a Groupon code, and I got a message that the code was invalid, or had already been used. It’s the big bold code in the upper right of the Groupon printout, in the format 12345678-0-1, right?

I just tried to sign up for the Beginner East Coast Swing class beginning June 7th, and it, too, said my Groupon had expired…..30881806-0-1 is the code. Help, please.

Marion, The groupon cannot be used for intro to Burlesque, due to the fact that is a special workshop and not one of our regular classes.
Also, I don’t have the schedule up yet, but there will be new classes as soon as the current ones are done.
Hi. We’ve been hoping to see your Intermediate Charleston class on the schedule to use our Groupons, but just re-read them and see that it is for “Beginners Classes.” Yikes! So, 2 questions, I guess—1. Can we use them for Intermediate Charleston? and 2. Will you be scheduling an Intermediate Charleston class between now and the expiration date of October 15th?
I am also having a problem signing up with my Groupon code–I get a message that says it’s invalid or already used.

Feel free to sign up and bring your groupon in. There are a couple of bugs with our system.
I’ve been trying to sign up to use my Groupon over the summer, but the classes I wanted were full, or I’ve had schedule conflicts. The class I want to take is being offered on 10/12 & the groupon states it expires on 10/15. Will I only b able to take 1 class of the session b4 10/15, or, will I be able to redeem the groupon for the full session?
I just sign up for the Beginner East Coast 1 starts September 14, and like a few others I got the issue of rejected Groupon code. #30902235-0-1. Can you confirm my registration? Thank you!

You onlly need to register for class before the groupon expires. The classes that extend after 10/15 will still be counted toward your grouon.

It’s taken care of. You should get a confirmation email. For the rest of you make sure you enter your groupon number this way: 30902xxx-x-x and not like this: #30902xxx-x-x.
